Humans evolved eating meat.
THE VEGAN HAS ENTERED THE CHAT.
Our ancestors also didn’t have Wi‑Fi. We adapted.
Early humans ate whatever they could find to survive. Meat was part of that. But “what our ancestors ate” and “what we need today” are two different questions. Our ancestors didn’t have grocery stores, fortified cereal or year-round lentils. We do. Protein can come from plants. The one nutrient that needs real attention is B12, which vegans get from fortified foods or supplements. Evolution explains how our bodies work. It doesn’t hand us a shopping list or a rulebook for right and wrong. And this doesn’t mean everyone, everywhere, can easily switch. It just means “cavemen did it” doesn’t settle the question.
THE KEY DISTINCTION
History explains why we did something. It doesn’t prove we still have to.
